A grandmothers Tears

A grandmother cries
She cries for her grandchildren
She longs for the days where she can hold them again
She wonders and wishes
She prays for their safety
She prays for their hearts
A grandmother asks the sky’s,
“How can I reach them, when they have turned me away”
A grandmother’s heart keeps breaking
“How much longer will this go on?” She asks herself.
She thinks of them fondly
But wonders if they think of her
Her heart aches
She loves them with her whole heart
She wishes them well
She wishes them luck
She prays they’re happy
With a tears in her eyes
She looks over their pictures and smiles
Her grandchildren
She wishes they could reunite one day
She says “I don’t know how much more time I have and I wish to see you but if my time comes before that chance, just know, I love you”
Little Note: This little piece isn’t a poem that I wrote when I’m feeling anxiety, this poem is based on someone else, someone who I used to see everyday, when i still lived with them. She’s been trying to hide her feelings ever since that day, a day that broke her heart and feelings. I‘ve been able to see it and feel it all the time, she even says it out loud when she's thinking of them, so I wrote her feelings for her in what I saw and heard her say. She's always had her family strong and close, that now this distance and no communication, hurts her, it breaks her. All she wants is for them to know that she’ll always love them, no matter where or how far they are. They may not feel the same feeling she may feel but she wants them to know that she'll always carry them in her heart.
